    Wiimote not recognized

I'm using a TrendNet usb bluetooth dongle, and I assume my wiimote is connected to it. The bluetooth program says its connected, but on the wiimote the first 3 lights just continuously flash, and it doesn't stop unless I disconnect it from my comp. When I run Wiisis though, absolutely nothing is recognized from the wiimote. No gestures, buttons, etc...

I'm upgraded to Crysis 1.2, and use Windows Vista.

    Any ideas?

Edit: the nunchak(sp?) also isn't being recognized, and I haven't tried the sensor bar yet.

    Re: Wiimote not recognized

I have the same problem, the game isn't recognising the wiimote. When I use GlovePIE it'll only work when the "Bluetooth Fix" option is enabled, so i'm guessing it's the same problem. The same wiimote and bluetooth dongle used to work fine on Windows XP, it's only since moving to Vista that i've had to enable the fix in GlovePIE. My dongle is a Trust BT-2200Tp.

The flashing lights are normal btw, they'll continue flashing after it's connected until a program tells them otherwise.

    Re: Wiimote not recognized

If your bluetooth stack cannot operate with the Wii Remote, it will not be able to connect to the PC and, therefore, Wiisis cannot communicate with it. You can try updating your drivers for your bluetooth stack to see if it corrects the problem.

    Re: Wiimote not recognized

It does work, it connects and installs the HID profile, and also shows in the Game Controllers list. However, like I already said, GlovePIE won't read the inputs until I enable the "Bluetooth Fix" option. Everything works fine then, LEDs, rumble, buttons, motion and IR all work within the GlovePIE scripts.

So what i'm saying is the same reason that GlovePIE cannot read it without the fix enabled is probably the same reason Wiisis can't.

I've tried both the microsoft stack and widcomm, same thing happens on both. It seems to be quite a common problem for Vista users from what i've read.
