Re: Ask your questions here!

I want to write a tutorial to describe how to make the fire direction move around on the screen (follow the cursor) but I must first find the time. Also, you will need to have at least some idea of how to work in C++ (compile a mod GameDll using the Crysis SDK).

Button controls are in the configuration file. Look in the Wiisis Manual (help folder, where you installed the mod at) to learn where it is and how it works.

IR Dot is a texture. You can use your own if you replace it. Find it in the Game/Textures.pak file.

    Re: Ask your questions here!

I need help playing wiisis using my wii sensor bar. people keep telling me that I just turn on my wii with the bar connected and my wii should somehow connect to my pc and work with the game like magic despite there being no connection between the 2 machines. it sounds both impossible and freaky. If i am using my wii sensor bar do I still need a bluetooth adapter? Also could someone give me a step by step tutorial for using the sensor bar including all the needed items cause Im kinda noob when it comes to these kinda things. SorryTongue Tied

    Question:

    1. We need the Wii console to use Wiisis?

    Re: Ask your questions here!

You do not need a Wii in order to use Wiisis.

    The basic requirements are:

A Bluetooth adapter (either dongle or built in)
    A Wii Remote Control

Optionally you can add the following:

    A Wii Nunchuck Controller
    An IR Sensor Bar

    Re: Ask your questions here!

The sensor bar does not contain any logic for the positioning of the Wiimote. The sensor bar only acts as a point of reference for the Wiimote to calculate movement, etc... As an example, you can use two candles instead of a sensor bar, and it will work the same way.

The best thing to do is to put your sensor bar on top of your monitor (while plugged into your Wii) and turn on your Wii, this will basically provide power to the sensor bar, although there are some wireless and USB based sensor bars available now. Wiisis only needs to have the flag that you have provided a sensor bar checked so it can do the advanced calculations on movement from the Wiimote.

    Re: Ask your questions here!

I already p[osted this somewhere else, I would love some help on the issue:

I want to be able to use wiimod (I am making a mod with it) but also I want to be able to still use wiisis control scheme. How do I go about achieving this? Maybe a flowgraph that applies all the functionality of wiisis? or maybe I have to recompile the api? I do not know how to do either of these things (although I understand how to make flowgraphs and I know how to follow instructionsWink), any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Ask your questions here!

As far as i remember, WiiMod is using Wiisis, so you should already have that support built in.

    Re: Ask your questions here!

Nay nay, Wiisis and WiiMod are two different branches built off the WRLib C++ API.

If you want to combine them, you'll have to merge the two projects into one and recompile it.

    Re: Ask your questions here!

Yes that's what I figured. How do I do it? also is the wiimod also configurable like the wiisis with the wiimote.xlm found on my documents folders? because I would like to adjust the sensibility. On another note,I am having a little lecture here in berlin this saturday, where I will show the cryengine 2 as a tool for performance, I am using the wiimod for a lot of the functionality, and I would love to be able to navigate with the wii as in wiisis... I am kinda wiied-out... Anyhow any help would be great and here is the info of the little workshop in case you happen to be in berlin this saturday

     http://dmy.avit.info/event/1800-1900-cryengine-2-for-performance/

I will do a proper post on crymod site later on, thanks!

    Re: Ask your questions here!

First ,I'm italian.. I don't speak english very well, sorry..

I want to change the follow setting in the " wiiremote.txt " file.

    I want to put
because in my computer works better.. ( i've got a sensor bar, but it works better with the value "1" )

So i save the new settings and close the file .txt

But ... When I open wiisis the value back to "4" and I can't play well .... how do I change it permanently?
